Nails Inc Glamour Mag Freebies ‘Motcomb Street’ with one coat of ‘Glamour Glitter’
In November Glamour magazine had four nails inc polishes up for grabs, so after a bit of searching (thank you to the Mr for that) I had my hands on all four. The three coloured polishes are or have been available via nails inc themselves, but the fourth named ‘Glamour Glitter’ was an exclusive I believe.

First up is ‘Motcomb Street’, an incredibly dark navy that I adore. I have a few dark or blackened blues and greens by nails inc and they’re all a delight to apply with Motcomb being no different. ‘Glamour Glitter’ seemed to get some poor reviews about the place, most people commenting that it is too sparse. Personally I love it far more than I thought I would. I was never concerned hat it would be too sparse but just that it would be a plain boring gold micro glitter, after all there’s nails inc ‘Chelsea Embankment’ for that, or even just Barry M’s Gold Glitter. Instead, ‘Glamour Glitter’ appears (I say appears because I’m still not sure that it isn’t just my eyes playing tricks on me) to not only contain gold particles but also a sprinkling of silver, and all are ever so slightly irregular shapes. It’s delicate and dainty, and I think perhaps the only gold glitter I like so far.

‘Elizabeth Street’ is the let down of the bunch for me. It’s still the reliable formula you’d expect from nails inc, I just feel frustrated at any polish that isn’t opaque in two coats. I know, I know, it’s a good polish to have for sandwiches and so on but I still prefer easier one or two coaters on the whole. A pretty colour nonetheless. ‘St James’ is my kind of polish though. Much more pigmented, smooth and creamy and bright red. I can’t really say any more!
Unfortunately these were a magazine freebie, so availability has pretty much been and gone. The best thing about all of these polishes? At £2 a pop they were even cheaper than TK Maxx prices!
