Barry M Spring 2013 Gelly polishes
Just like the last Gelly release, these polishes shouldn’t be confused with ‘jelly’ finishes. Instead the ‘gelly’ refers to a ‘gel’ like finish. All swatches are two coats without a top coat.
Barry M Spring 2013 Gelly polish ‘Papaya’
Barry M Spring 2013 Gelly polish ‘Papaya’
First up is ‘Papaya’, which is an orange toned coral and not my shade if truth be told. I like it, I just don’t love it and it wasn’t the most even of the bunch even on the second coat.

Barry M Spring 2013 Gelly polish ‘Green Berry’
‘Green Berry’ is quite a lovely colour and much more even than ‘Papaya’, and really solid in two coats. I think this is my favourite primarily because it’s the least pastel shade of the bunch.

Now, I don’t like nudes. They bore me and I hate the term ‘palette cleanser’. I’m sorry, it just creeps me out. Oddly though, I do like this polish and I can’t explain why. I’ll just have to leave it at that!
Barry M Spring 2013 Gelly polish ‘Dragon Fruit’

Again a lovely hi-shine finish, and a nice spring shade of pink, not sure what else I can say about this one.
These all do what it says on the tin. Super hi-shine, glossy finishes without the need for a top coat. With the exception of the minor difficulties I had with ‘Papaya’ (this could just be me though) they were typically lovely to work with. I love the Gelly range and hope that Barry M will keep adding to this line (hopefully once we get past spring and all these wishy washy pastels).
