Proving that you’re never too old to be told off, my mother told me off recently for not posting any of the polishes that she’s sent me. Yes, she has sent me many, the thing is though that I have so so so many polishes that are yet to be tried, let alone swatched! ‘Lizard Belly’ was on my wishlist though, and as soon as it arrived it jumped straight to the top of the to-swatch pile.

I used three coats but it was probably good enough at two if you don’t want to wait for a super solid finish. It doesn’t need a topcoat for shine though, and in my experience they can dull holos a little, so that can save some time. The formula is lovely and smooth and the colour, well, that’s just heavenly. I’m not a massive lover of holos. Don’t get me wrong, I like them, I just don’ tend to go gaga over them but ‘Lizard Belly’ sends me quite dizzy. It’s just beautiful, my lemming has been cured, and I wasn’t disappointed.
