The snow has melted and though I miss jumping into crunching untouched lawns it is nice to see the daffodils coming out. I may also have expressed my love for ladybirds, so this seemed like a great opportunity to try fimo decals for the first time.

I used the new China Glaze ‘Budding Romance’ from the Avant Garden collection for a base, and stamped with the Nailways Snow White Weather Forecast plate using nails inc ‘Sumner Place’. Topp with a matte top coat and finish with an oh-so-cute ladybird and while it wasn’t quite the end result I was aiming for I’m quite pleased. I love the ugly green base, it’s that kind of ugly that’s awesome rather than being truly hideous. To be honest though, as much as I love the ladybird, it’s a pain in the bum to wear for any length of time, and forget dish washing!
